About this ebook

Enzyme Technology for Environmental Sustainability, Waste to Wealth, and Circular Economy offers a comprehensive look at how enzyme technology can drive environmental progress within the framework of biochemistry. Beginning with foundational concepts, the book introduces readers to the science behind enzymes and their practical applications. Each chapter builds upon these basics, illustrating how enzymes catalyze vital processes that contribute to sustainability and the transformation of waste into valuable resources. Through focused case studies and clear explanations, the book demonstrates the potential of enzyme-driven solutions to address urgent environmental challenges and promote a circular economy.Beyond its central focus, the book stands out by delivering pragmatic examples that remain within biochemical boundaries, avoiding broader discussions in public health or environmental science. It is designed as a valuable reference for biochemists, researchers, and industry professionals, emphasizing collaboration and innovation rooted in biochemical expertise. Readers will gain an enriched understanding of enzyme technology's role in sustainable industrial practices and the future of environmentally responsible solutions. - Presents thorough case studies and success stories from diverse industries, offering practical insights into enzyme technology - Highlights the necessity of interdisciplinary approaches in enzyme technology, providing models and perspectives that encourage cooperation across biotechnology, chemistry, engineering, and environmental science - Delivers a forward-looking analysis of emerging trends and innovations in applied enzyme technology, equipping readers with knowledge on future challenges and opportunities in the field
