Dr. Shuichi Matsuda is a professor and chairman at Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Kyoto University. He graduated from medial school of Kyushu University (Japan) in 1990, and he took a research fellowship at Barnes West Hospital, Washington University in St Louis (USA). He completed his PhD thesis on knee kinematics in 2002. In 2012, he was appointed as chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Kyoto University.
