A secret marriage to protect a young woman then six years of deployment and Cole is in Montana to really start a marriage. Riley is not on board, having spent the six years pretending to be healed from her ordeal and not sharing that she is married. To her, Cole will want out now that the basis for the marriage is over. Love flows through Cole for Riley and he is determined to make their marriage work. A tough and touching romance. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book

This story starts out when Cole has brought Riley back to her family home and he left to go finish his tour with the military, He's got a few years til finished and he hopes she is able to go to therapy and get help she needs. She's so broken and has no confidence. Story also follows Riley who's taking over for her mom at the rodeo. She gets a surprise when Cole shows up. He protects her from a punch from her brother, Rohan that was aimed at Cole. She never told anybody they were married ....
