Lee Elliot Major is Chief Executive of the Sutton Trust, a foundation dedicated to improving social mobility in the UK through evidence-based programmes, research and policy advocacy.
Stephen Machin is Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Director of the Centre for Economic Performance.
