About this ebook

Fourteen Days in Paris. A love to remember.

When Sam, a Scottish history and language nerd, leans in to help a stranger struggling at a Paris hotel desk, he doesn’t expect to change the course of his life. Ana, the mysterious Russian girl he rescues with his words, shares his love for history, stories, and soon they grow something deeper, a bond, some untold feelings, an untold love. As they express their feeling, it's already the end of the holiday, he must return to Edinburgh, she to Moscow.

Can love survive across borders, languages, and distance? Or be another lost love and fade as a lost memory.

About the author

Somnath Bhattacharjee is a talented author, known for his unique, emotionally charged stories. He has mastered writing everything from Romantic Comedy to Mystery and Psychological thrillers. Some of his best novels are “The Devil’s Love Story”, “Afreen”, and “Love at First Lie”.

Somnath Bhattacharjee is a 17-year-old writer. He started his writing journey on 2nd June 2023. His first novel was “Love in Translation,” and he quickly wrote over six novels before the end of 2023. He started writing his novel, “Devil Loves the Church Girl,” which is an epic novel with a psychological thriller storyline. As soon as he finished writing the trilogy, he continued writing the “Mickey” series, a humorous novel for the young audience. He also published his next book, “Edge of the Paradise,” in mid-2024, entering the world of dark fantasy novels. Till then, Somnath has written in Romantic Comedy, Children’s Fiction, Psychological Thriller, Historical Fiction, Romance, Drama, and Fantasy, in the following genres, and has written over 12 books.

At that time, Somnath started to write his love poems, and he published his first Poem Collection, “My Romantic Sparrow”. After a week, he published his second Poem Collection, “Whispers of the Heart”. Soon Somnath realized his poems had touched many readers’ hearts, and he started to write his third and most special poem collection, “Dancing on a Thread”, which holds emotionally charged poems, like “You came”, “Could not you stay?”, “Wishes of Blue”, “My Queen Gone”, and many more. It is speculated that, maybe shortly, his new poem collection will come out explicitly in Urdu and contain his Urdu poems.

In late 2024 and early 2025, Somnath Bhattacharjee continued writing on projects he had paused for a while. Now, he has written over 20 novels, 15 of which have been published, and some are being edited.

At this time, Somnath is writing his 21st novel, which is so deep and personal for him, because the storyline of his 21st novel is so magnificent and luminous that some beta readers have said that, once the novel is ready, it can rival the great epics. Somnath does not compare his novels to others, but he strongly believes that his 21st novel, “Afreen,” is one of the most personal projects for him, after “Devil Loves the Church Girl” and “Clock Pointers Separates Us.”

Along with his writing career, he is a young entrepreneur and game Developer. He is the founder and CEO of Jilvet, which has its flagship games, “Victory Racing,” “Drift Racing 3D,” and many more.

Somnath thinks that even if pain is written in such a beautiful way, it can turn into joy. Somnath is a polyglot, and he knows over five languages: English, Bengali, Hindi, Russian, and Urdu, and he can speak fluently in all of them. Along with his writing, Somnath translates books into other languages as his passion and writes Shayari as his hobby.

His beta readers state that Somnath has mastered writing Historical Romances, emotionally charged Love Stories, and Psychological Stories. By writing all his novels, he wants to touch the reader’s heart and craft the world that he dreams of. If love is a religion, I am your pilgrim
