Within the space of a few years Southern Europe has moved from being an area of mass emigration to one of substantial immigration. Russell King is Professor of Geography and Co-Director of the Sussex Centre for Migration Research, University of Sussex. He is the author of numerous books and articles and is the editor of the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
