Poetry to me is, not a beautiful time pass, not a straw to float on in deeps & darks, but, actually, it is an immense pleasure and incredible treasure. Whatever alights in my mind, either white or black, spontaneously gets the shape of some words & some lines, and one can call it poetry. It makes my soul a little upgraded and fills my entire with spiritual awakening. This book is not all about me, not all about you, rather, it is something about me, something about you, something about all of us. My ups, my downs, My pinks, my blues, My smile, my sorrow, My family, my friends, My society, my country, All of me is here in form of 'ghazals' & 'geets'. It is nothing special, but everything close to my heart, my soul & my existence.

About the author
Sudhanshu Upadhyay, a doctor by profession and a poet by emotion, born in 1977, is a native of Pratapgarh, U. P. He is a born singer and a passionate sportsman. He has been a part of national level of table – tennis and national six- aside cricket tournament. But each & every reason of happiness and youthfulness of him is now left far behind his latest crush and deepest love for poetry. Now he is no doctor, neither a singer, nor a sportsman, but a true disciple of literature. His lyrics writing and singing was introduced through the album, "A Tribute to Nirbhaya" by Vinayak films, Mumbai, in 2014.
