I’m tired of being teased for dating a lot, and having two marriages before my thirtieth birthday. So when my best friend asks me who I’m bringing to his wedding, of course I describe the hot silver fox I just met on the beach. Easy on the eyes, and easy to make excuses for when he doesn’t actually show up.

There’s just one problem with my perfect plan. I didn’t know the sexy older man was invited to the wedding too. And I definitely didn’t know he was listening to me describe him to the groom. Busted.

Or maybe not.

Instead of calling me out, the same callused grip that shook my hand as a stranger on the beach wraps itself around my waist as my plus one.

I know I just met her, but our meeting feels like fate.
