Anthony C. Thiselton is professor emeritus of Christian theology at the University of Nottingham, England, and the author of many other books, including The Hermeneutics of Doctrine; two acclaimed commentaries on 1 Corinthians; The Holy Spirit — In Biblical Teaching, through the Centuries, and Today; and The Thiselton Companion to Christian Theology.
