About this ebook

Becoming Bader:

When Bader's parents died in a house fire, she ended her plans for law school and went home to run the family bookstore.

Five years later, the world is changing once again and Bader's life changes with it. Does she have what it takes?

Will she take risks with her heart and find her truth?

Trials & Treaties:

It's been over twenty years since the pandemic woke magic in some - and drove others to violence.

Bader Winthrop and her eclectic family own the Winthrop Literary Society bookstore, and live in the attached residence. Always a resource for good information, the shop grew into a place where people could get answers - or find a safe haven.

Approaching fifty, Bader starts to question her purpose and focus in life. Is this it? Is this all she's meant to do? To be?

Bishop's Bay was founded by Bader's ancestors when they escaped the Salem Trials, and the house they built is now part business/part home - and sentient. When the house gives Bader an ancient journal, she realizes the political climate in Bishop's Bay is oddly reminiscent of Salem during the Trials. Even moreso when one adds in the rise of a new political party that wants to remove those with magic from the world.

Or do they?

When old hatreds and jealousies arise, it's up to Bader to gather her allies and fight for her family, her home, her town - and herself.

Fiends & Familiars:

Twenty years after the pandemic woke magic in some - and drove others to violence - Bader Winthrop is called to help fight a dark magic that has ties to her family.

Bader, her partner Magnus, and the rest of the eclectic group she's gathered are once again facing something they never expected. Fiends are in Bishop's Bay and they're coming after all of the magic users.

People so desperate to grow their magic, or get any magic at all, are willing to do anything to achieve their goals. One cult of fiends has taken it all to another level - and they're led by a man with ties to Bader's own family bloodline - Kanozas Bishop.

When the Society calls on them to help fight, Bader and her friends can't say no. Just when she thought she was done, it becomes even more personal. This time, Bader is going to make sure she doesn't have to keep looking over her shoulder - even if it means sacrificing more than she'd ever imagined.

About the author

Bestselling author TK Eldridge retired from a career in Intelligence for the US Gov't to write. The experiences from then are now being used to feed the muse for romance, mysteries-thrillers, supernatural, paranormal, and whatever else captures their imagination.

TK Eldridge writes about all kinds of people because it is our variety as humans that makes us fascinating. Their hope is to encourage people to see the world differently through the character’s eyes, and through the character’s journey.

When they're not writing, they are enjoying life in the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina. Two dogs, a garden, a craft hobby and a love of Celtic Traditional music keep them from spending too much time at the computer.
