This is the second book in the series and it was a great installment. I was really looking forward to this one after reading Call to Honor. It started off a little slow for me, but Tawny Weber always has a way of hooking me into the story. I wasn't a big fan of Ava at the beginning, but she won me over rather quickly. The suspense element of the team Poseidon looking for the traitor among them kept me on the edge of my seat. Poor Elijah, he has the worst time at the moment. I wouldn't want to be in his head because he's struggling with betrayal and his past. Sparks fly when Ava and Elijah come face to face after their tragic end. They never got their closure both dealing with heartache, but now is their chance. Or it just could be the beginning? I'm looking forward to the next book.

Lieutenant Elijah Prescott is so strong, daring and wicked smart, he returns home after a failed mission that almost killed him to try and uncover the truth of what went wrong. Ava Monroe is a sexy, sassy and head strong woman that just also happens to be his ex-wife and the one woman he can never forget. Second book in the series and I most defiantly recommend reading the first book Call to Honor to understand the underlying investigation in to the betrayal they are trying to uncover.
