Award-winning author Cathy Spencer is married to a singer/actor/teacher. He didn’t actually say “marry me and see Canada” when he proposed, but that’s practically what happened. They've lived from Vancouver to St. John’s, Newfoundland, and are back in Ontario again.
Cathy writes both romance and mystery novels. Framed for Murder, winner of the 2014 Bony Blithe Mystery Award, is the first in the Anna Nolan series, a mystery/romantic suspense with an amateur sleuth set in the Rocky Mountain Foothills of Alberta. The second novel, Town Haunts, takes place at Halloween, while the third, Tidings of Murder and Woe, is set at Christmas.
Aside from the mystery series, Cathy has written a contemporary novel, The Dating Do-Over, a regency romance entitled The Affairs of Harriet Walters, Spinster, and two short story collections, Tall Tales Twin-Pack, Mysteries and Tall Tales Twin-Pack, Science Fiction and Fantasy. Watch for a second regency romance, The Marriage Market, coming out in 2015.
