Michael Loong received degrees for aeronautical and mechanical engineering from Australia and completed the management executive program in the USA. He has worked in numerous positions with an airline as management staff. He has made significant contributions in the area of airplane, engine, and airframe design improvements and received many industry-wide awards for his ideas.
