Winner of the Nestle Smarties Book Prize and the Kate Greenaway Medal, she is best known for creating the characters Clarice Bean and the BAFTA-award-winning Charlie and Lola. She is also co-creator of The Princess and the Pea and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
