Jake Veit started shooting and competing at the age of 11 as a family sport. He was certified as an archery instructor by the NFAA after starting an Archery Club in Ohio. Was Idaho Field Archery Assoc.’s secretary for 7 years. Served as NFAA National Instructor Chairman in the 1980’s. Was Georgia Bowhunter & Archery Assoc. tournament director for 9 years. Won his first National Archery championship in 1973. Won his first World Archery championship in 1988. After shooting and promoting Archery in Ohio, Idaho and Georgia has won over 70 state, over 50 sectional and 6 national Archery Championships
