The Song of the Wind

Suzume returned to the palace seeking answers, but her father, the emperor, thrusts her into the center of court politics instead. She thought she knew yokai, but everything she thought was a lie. As she uncovers the origins of her power, immortal attacks on the palace increase, forcing Suzume to make an impossible choice. Use her power to protect her family or let Kaito and the dragons destroy humanity.

Kaito finds his kingdom in ruins, infested by lesser dragons, and led by an imposter. Reclaiming his throne is easy. Winning the trust of the yokai clans again isn’t as simple. His trusted advisors are dead or scattered. Immortal populations are dwindling after being hunted to mere extension by humans. To unite the fractured clans, Kaito must find friends he can trust, and eliminate the human empire.
