About the author
Thomas Fitzner, geb. 1960, ist ein österreichischer Schriftsteller und Journalist. Er lebte in Mexiko, arbeitete als Reporter im Zweiten Golfkrig und war als Offizier für mehrere UN-Missionen in Nahost und Nordafrika tätig. Später arbeitete er hauptsächlich als Werbetexter und Übersetzer. Über viele Jahre hinweg schrieb er auch Artikel und Kolumnen in der Mallorca Zeitung. Sein erster Roman wurde 1998 veröffentlicht. Fitzner ist mit einer Spanierin verheiratet und lebt heute in einem kleinen Dorf auf Mallorca.
