About this ebook

The greatest American general of the twentieth century wasn't Dwight Eisenhower or George Patton or Douglas MacArthur. The honor, according to New York Times bestselling historian Thomas Fleming, belongs to Matthew Ridgway, who led America's Eighth Army to victory in Korea. Here, in this essay, is his courageous story.

This is a student thesis paper so keep that in mind at 35 pages. The inaccuracy at the end glorifying Ridgway somewhat negated his feat and what he accomplished in Korea. Into the 2nd year he somewhat resigned himself for a post to be part of Reconstructing Germany after WW2 thus this war as in the beginning being Asian anti-polar. So based on his role in Germany is why Eisenhower demoted him and resigned him completely and rightfully so from the military for departing his full 3 year term others completed in Korean War. That was very inaccurate esp of Eisenhower who reconstructed America after WW2 with highways everywhere. Thanks to his vision as now. Ridgway did nothing in comparison of any kind in Europe. Its a blank. So that says a lot of his departure after the Korean War.
