The comical adventure begins in Kingston upon Thames and takes the motley crew to Oxford, before heading back to Kingston again. Jerome Klapka Jerome (2 May 1859 - 14 June 1927) was an English writer and humourist. Other works by this author include "Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow" (1886), "All Roads Lead to Calvary" (1919), and "Anthony John" (1923).
