Tim Geelhaar entkoppelt Begriff und Idee und lotet Gebrauchssituationen, Umsemantisierungen und Politisierungen des Wortes aus. Die historische Semantik von ›christianitas‹, so zeigt diese Studie anschaulich, macht die Pluralität eines christlichen, lateinischen Europas selbst sichtbar.
