TAPP is a manualised brief psychodynamic psychotherapy of 20 sessions, for young people between, approximately, 14 and 25 years, combining psychodynamic psychotherapy with psychosocial understanding of adolescent difficulties. Stephen Briggs is Professor of Social Work at the University of East London. He is a Member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. He was formerly a Consultant Social Worker in the Adolescent Department, Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
