About the author

Tom Jones (Author)
Tom Jones is a writer and bestselling author of Tired of London, Tired of Life and Mad Dogs & Englishmen. He is happiest when discovering new things to do and believes it is important to make the most of where you live. Born near Stroud in the Cotswolds, he is the son of two shopkeepers and studied in York before moving to London. Tom's favourite pub is the Woolpack at Slad in Gloucestershire, and his favourite place in London is 19 Princelet Street. London, The Weekends Start Here is Tom's third book.

David Doran (Illustrator)
David Doran is a freelance illustrator currently based in the UK. With a strong interest in traditional print techniques, he explores texture and limited colour palettes. His work involves a sense of narrative, often combined with conceptual elements, shown through figures and symbolism. David graduated from Falmouth University in 2014 with a first class degree in illustration and has worked for a wide range of international clients, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Oscars and the San Francisco Chronicle.
