As the war that started three years ago in 'The Empyrean Age' drags on, the four empires of man seek to create immortal soldiers, brothers to the Capsuleer pilots in space. And somebody has succeeded. As they all scramble to capture this technology many familiar faces from the prequel return. . Another enjoyable read, a bit darker than the first but it adds excellent depth and continuation to the plot. Again, you need not know anything of EVE to enjoy this, but reading The Empyrean Age first is highly recommended.

Read this one and Eve: The Empyrean Age back to back fantastic read, having played eve for 10 years this May was nice to be able to relate to the game and events of the past, a real, "I was there" or at least somewhere nearby! Would love to see Tony right up a story based on a players actual experiences (a little less lore and more of what makes Eve special, player driven event/consequence) but I don't see how that would be possible!

If you're wondering about the interpunction problems from other reviews: it seemed to have been fixed as of late July 2015. No longer illegible! :) As for the book itself - it's slightly worse than Empyrean age, but still worth reading in my opinion, if you're Eve Online player.
