Ian Sharpe use to be an FBI profiler who worked with serial killers because of certain circumstances that happened in his past. Now, Ian is a Pulitzer prize-winning, New York Times best selling writer, who writes stories that revolve around real-life serial killers. He is currently working on a story that has led him to actress Veronica Romero, the most sought after vixen in all of Hollywood. Veronica just happened to get the lead part in his last book, Belladonna, and he just happened to get selected to interview her for a piece in Vanity Fair....a perfect excuse to try and get the answers from her that he needs. After meeting Veronica, Ian is smitten. It is obvious that Veronica is hiding things and Ian is determined to find out the answers. Of course there is instant, off-the-charts chemistry between the two, but she tends to just do one-night stands. When Ian provides Veronica with something she has never had happen before, one time turns into many! As Veronica starts to open up to Ian, he starts to realize that he is having real feeling for her, and also doubts about pursuing his book. On top of that, Veronica has to deal with a mother who acts more like a child, in a world where they want to keep the past a secret. I just adored Ian. He is very good at his job and at reading people and he was able to help Veronica with what she really needed in life. I love how he fought so hard for her. You couldn't help but root for Veronica to finally get her happy ending and boy did she. This story is very different from anything that Tracy Wolff has written before. It kept me intrigued with such a great story and great characters. I loved the suspenseful side of the story as well as the romance. Overall a great new story!

Lovegame will draw you into a world of seduction, suspense and mystery. Best Selling crime novelist Ian Sharpe is doing research for his latest book and has accepted a job to interview Hollywood's leading lady Veronica Romero. Veronica was born into hollywood royalty and leads a very private life. Veronica learned at a young age an actress must use her sex appeal to get what they want and to hell with what others may think. Veronica just wrapped up her role in a movie based on one of Ian's books and has allowed Ian to spend a large amount of time researching and observing her for his latest novel. The only problem is Veronica isn't cooperating . She deflects questions when it comes to her personal life and tries every bag of trick she has to throw Ian off topic. As a former FBI profiler, Ian can tell the his observation and questions are leaving Veronica unsettled. It is more than just the usual distrust most actors have a the media. He knows she is hiding something and he is determined to unravel the mystery behind the woman. When Ian tours Veronica's home with her and then her mothers he starts to piece together a picture of a possible crime. But what does Veronica know, if anything, about this crime. Just as the picture starts to form strange things begin to happen to Veronica. Veronica starts having memory lapses and starts to fear she may be losing her mind. She is has been having nightmares since her last role she play based on Ian's book and she is having a difficult time separating herself from the character she played. Veronica is frightened and doesn't know who to trust. Can she trust Ian to help her find out what is going on? This book was extremely well written and kept me guessing throughout the story. I loved watching the trust and relationship grow between these two throughout the story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery. I received am eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are strictly my own.

A red-hot psychological thriller! Secrets, suspense and sex all wrapped up tight with an intense story and dynamic characters. Ian and Veronica's chemistry is explosive! Both of them have secrets to hide and demons to battle. But when their pasts collide with the present the result is some collateral damage. The plot was a dark and turbulent ride that had me on edge from start to finish. So hold on tight for another masterful mind-blowing masterpiece from Tracy Wolff.
