In sehr kurzen und auf das Wesentliche konzentrierten Gedichten notiert Ulrike Bail, wie fragil und verwundbar das menschliche Leben ist. Mit "sterbezettel" liegt ein Gedichtband von seltener Geschlossenheit und emotionaler Dichte vor, der sich in einer hochsensiblen Spache mit Sterben und Trauer auseinandersetzt. Oft werden dabei Bilder aus der Natur nach Art eines Stilllebens eingesetzt, als Memento Mori-Motiv, doch nicht ohne tiefen Hoffnungsschimmer und heitere Ruhe.
About the author
Ulrike Bail, geboren 1960 in Metzingen, lebt in Luxemburg (Luxemburg). Studium der Germanistik und Evangelischen Theologie in Tübingen, Promotion und Habilitation an der Ruhr-Universität in Bochum. Neben Publikationen in Zeitschriften und Anthologien hat sie den Band "wundklee streut aus. 47 gedichte über theodora" (Saarbrücken 2011) veröffentlicht. Das Manuskript von "sterbezettel" gewann den 2. Preis beim Concours littéraire national in Luxemburg.
