Hamid’s teaching has covered a broad range of computing modules in particular Information Security Management, Information Security Risk and Audit, Digital Forensics, Systems Design & Development, Telecommunications and Networking, Computer Systems. Hamid’s principal research area for a number of years has been in the field of information security management and digital forensics.
Dr. Umair B. Chaudhry is an esteemed academic with a PhD from Queen Mary University of London, where he also served as a research and teaching fellow. Currently, he imparts his expertise in cybersecurity, security engineering, and network engineering at Northumbria University London. Dr. Chaudhry’s research focuses on the autonomous domain, particularly the optimization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for effective data retrieval in mobile ad-hoc networks. In addition to his expertise in autonomous systems, he has extensive experience in Internet of Things (IoT) and wireless networks, tackling both communication and security challenges.
