Shattered Djinns: A Dark and Steamy Why Choose Paranormal Romance

Shattered Djinns has one of the most imaginative beginnings, including very creative alphas to whom we are introduced. I loved how they led Zuli down a dreamlike path to passion. Ke’nu is gentle and Kai’tau is ruthless and brutal. Both djinns are equally swoon-worthy. This triad packs a powerful erotic punch and doesn’t bother to pull them. Keep ‘em coming! The author deserves a massive, “thank you” for writing this wonderful story.

I have yet to read a book by V.T. Bonds that disappointed me. This one was no exception. I absolutely loved it! I loved how each of the djinns in this story made her feel different emotions. I loved the angst and tension in this story. It was absolutely riveting. I loved the darkness and lightness theme. You could literally feel it oozing off the pages as Zuli flipped emotions from day to night. The fear and wariness that night brought. To the joy and happiness that day brought her. Once I opened the book I couldn't put it down. When I got to the end I was still trying to flip the pages to read more of the story :)) It made me mad that there was no more Zuli, Ke'nu, Kai'tau to read. But I was thrilled when reaching the end and discovering that there would be a 2nd story about this throuple. I can't wait to learn more about them.

I thought Shattered Djinns was an entertaining story about a sweet young woman and her two twin shadows. Yeah, there was a teensy bit of darkness. Especially in the one Djinn, Kai'tau. But that was the crux of this little gem: light vs. dark; good vs. bad. And how the integration of these obverse sides can bring wholeness and happiness. I love that this story is set in the Omegaverse. I'd never read a Djinn story before, but it never occurred to me I'd find one in an Omegaverse setting; so deliciously sexy. It was so much fun to watch poor Zuli try to fathom what was going on in her life as she was pursued by these two “suitors!” And I really got a kick out of the career the writer chose for Zuli: a novel author. Zuli had a heckuva writer's block there for a while. LOL! Great story. I'm so glad I read it. Five stars.
