About the author

Vaishali Manikaro Patil holds the position of Principal/Head at Charak School of Pharmacy, Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut, India, and also serves as a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With over 17 years of academic and 3 years of industrial experience, her primary research lies in medicinal chemistry and computer-aided drug design, focusing on quantitative structure–activity relationship studies, drug-receptor interactions, and the synthesis of small heterocyclic molecules. Dr Patil, a recipient of prestigious awards, has authored numerous research papers, books, and book chapters, contributing globally through lectures and participation in scientific communities including the World Health Organization, American Chemical Society, and APTI-India.

Dileep Kumar, holding degrees from Manipal University and S.G.S.I.T.S Indore, serves as an Assistant Professor at Poona College of Pharmacy and also has a visiting faculty position at the University of California, Davis. With research interests in the design of GluN2B selective NMDA receptor antagonists and amyloid-β protein aggregation inhibitors for Alzheimer's disease treatment, Dr Kumar actively contributes to cancer research at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Neeraj Masand, Assistant Professor at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut, earned degrees from North Maharashtra University and Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. With over 16 years of academic and research experience, his current research focuses on designing gamma-secretase inhibitors for Alzheimer's disease treatment and synthesizing novel heterocyclic analogues. Dr Masand has authored numerous research papers, books, and book chapters.
