This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a love after bereavement, dragon shifter male/human presenting female, contemporary fantasy romance. I empathised with Noah’s past grief, though I found his lack of willingness to try again frustrating. I applauded Bella’s compassion and patience whilst Noah dealt with his historical trauma. I enjoyed Bella’s determination to assist with addressing threats and her refusal to be relegated to a corner. I enjoyed Noah’s character development.
