Vlinder is een meisje. Ze gaat naar school, naar opa en oma, viert haar verjaardag en Kerstmis net als alle andere kinderen uit haar klas. Toch is Vlinder een beetje anders. Vlinder is namelijk snel afgeleid door haar ADHD. Dat betekent dat ze zich niet zo goed kan concentreren, dat ze een beetje druk is – en soms verschrikkelijk druk – en dat ze de wereld om haar heen niet altijd begrijpt. Dat geeft niets. Want Vlinder is ook creatief, slim, vrolijk en spontaan en daardoor gebeurt er altijd wel wat. Vlinder is uniek. Vlinder is Vlinder.
