About the author

Walter Rupp, geboren 1926 in Würzburg, studierte 1946 nach Verwundung und amerikanischer Gefangenschaft, Geschichte, Germanistik, Philosophie und Theologie, und war Leiter des Akademiker-Centrums München. Er ist Jesuit und Autor zahlreicher Buchpublikationen und Beiträge für den Rundfunk, das Fernsehen und die Bühne. Seine Texte sind vor allem zeitgeschichtlich, gesellschaftskritisch und satirisch. Der Autor wurde 2006 mit dem Poetentaler ausgezeichnet.
