Mrs. Sartin's Secretary is an awesome historical romance by Wendy LaCapra. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. LaCapra has given readers a book that's well-written and populated with outstanding characters. Amelia is a widow and now the head of Sartin Trading Company. Matthew is her secretary. Amelia and Matthew's story is packed with drama, humor and naughty bits. I loved every word of this little book and look forward to my next book by Wendy LaCapra. Mrs. Sartin's Secretary is part of the Lords of Chance Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

A wonderful book, filled with an unconventional love, one that takes courage and trust to ignore the norms and expectations of society. Couldn't put it down!

A delightful romp involving an older woman and a younger man. Their trials through the Tonn's rituals lead to enlightenment at the end.
