About this eBook

Two hearts. One extraordinary love story. A journey of hope that defies every odd.

Devon Christensen has spent most of his sixteen years feeling like an outsider—trapped in a body that refuses to cooperate, abandoned by weary parents, and lost in the sterile routine of a group home. With cerebral palsy, a speech impediment, and a heart full of unspoken pain, he’s convinced God has forgotten him.

Then he discovers Whispers of Hope, a novel by Rebecca Gallagher—a girl who understands his struggles in ways no one else could. Born with the same condition, Rebecca’s words radiate a joy and faith Devon can’t comprehend. When he reaches out in a vulnerable letter, he never expects her to respond.

But Rebecca does.

Through ink and paper, their connection deepens—two wounded souls finding solace in shared words and whispered prayers. As their friendship blossoms into something more, Devon begins to see himself through Rebecca’s eyes: not broken, but beloved. Not abandoned, but chosen.

But when a health crisis threatens to shatter Devon’s fragile hope, Rebecca does the unthinkable—she crosses state lines to stand by his side. In a hospital room over Zaxby’s chicken and fried pickles, they discover a love stronger than fear, and a faith that refuses to let go.

Whispers of Faith is a poignant, heart-stirring Christian romance about finding God’s light in the darkest places, the redemptive power of love, and the miracles that happen when we dare to believe.

While her condition affects her mobility, it has never limited her extraordinary impact as a Field Minister, Lay Minister, Youth Minister, Funeral Officiant, and Christian Faith Officiant licensed through the Christian Leaders Institute Alliance. Her comprehensive ministerial training encompasses Youth Ministry Officiant, Women's Ministry, Faith Officiant, Preaching, Men's Ministry, All Abilities Ministry, Evangelism, Church Revitalization, Church Planting, Navigating Conflict, Marriage Ministry, Senior Adult Ministry, Pastoral Care, Advanced Bible Study, and Bible Study Leadership - a remarkable testament to her dedication to serving others.

As the passionate co-host of Palsy Power alongside her fiancé and fellow Cerebral Palsy advocate Cody A. McWhorter, Tylia creates vital conversations about disability awareness. For six groundbreaking years (2017-2023), she hosted Stomping On CP Radio with DJ Ty, establishing one of the most influential platforms for the disability community. Currently, she brings her signature blend of warmth and wisdom to Ty's Country Rewind on Johnny Rock 'N' Roll Radio, merging her love of music with her advocacy work.

Through her writing, broadcasting, and multifaceted ministry work, Tylia demonstrates that physical limitations cannot constrain a spirit called to serve. Her life stands as living proof that true ability is measured not by the body's capacity, but by the heart's courage and faith's perseverance. Whether through the written word, radio waves, or ministerial service, Tylia continues to break barriers and redefine possibilities for people of all abilities.
