O ovoj e-knjizi

In the 21st century, women are supposed to have a choice about where they give birth. But when that choice is home, women often encounter obstacles, despite robust evidence that birth at home is safe, beneficial and should be available for women who want it.

Why Home Birth Matters is a clear discussion of the reality of modern home birth, which aims to show how the home environment supports and powers the birth process, while encouraging parents to consider how it might work for them.

O autoru

Natalie has run an active birth yoga class for several years in South West London, which combined with her work supporting mothers as a doula, got her interested in what really makes a difference to a woman's experience of childbirth – the things that change mindsets, build confidence and help women to feel and know they have everything they need to give birth.

Her big focus and love is educating and changing mindsets. She has spent many years, working on and developing a birth preparation course for couples, something she is very proud of – it's concise, it's effective and people draw great benefit from it, in almost all cases going on to have extremely positive experiences of birth. It would be her dream to make it available to more people.
