About this ebook

"Age of Fakequarius" is a sensational story with elements of science fiction. The action of the novel begins in the Amazon jungle and concludes in the Arab city of Doha. The world of the future is in crisis, marked by the downfall of civilization and the destruction of the economy due to imprudent politicians. Perhaps this collapse isn't a result of human imperfection, but a deliberate act aimed at slowing down the development of Homo sapiens. Could the solution to this mystery be found in the Holy Scripture, in a few initial verses of Genesis? Due to a criminal intrigue and illness, two individuals confront this mystery: the novice police officer Ignacy and the young journalist Agnieszka, both residents of Warsaw. The main props of the novel include an application used for summoning spirits called Soulbook, the drug statylophorine, and the parapharmaceutical canilyco, discovered in the Peruvian jungle.

"Ignacy didn't rush home. He pondered how to announce his suspension to the world. He could do it with a heroic tone: look at me, what a guy I am, three months in the police force and already suspended. He chuckled at his thoughts. (...) Agnieszka would somehow understand. After all, when you think about it, it was her fault. She dragged him into this whole situation. Her and her idea of making a journalistic career. Her and that stunt with Srebroj, and then with her father. Well, at least he doesn't have to hide anything from her. Ignacy realized that they were both stuck in this case together and thought that... it was... cool. Usually, couples build their relationship focusing on mundane issues: shared life, raising children. And he has a relationship entwined with dealing with some criminals, cultists, politicians... But he's damn lucky."
