Life isn’t easy after their last fight, but they cannot give up. Kai is distraught, and Zuri has no way to make it better. In fact, she blames herself. Zuri must be careful to hide her secret but it is difficult when the lives of her loved ones are on the line yet again. Exhausted and bloody, when they make it to the centre, they meet someone who turns their lives upside down. Everything they thought they knew is wrong. And the battle has only just begun…
