Translation of Xenophon's Apomnemoneumata (Memorabilia), a collection of Socratic dialogues. Xenophon was a student of Socrates and this is the longest and most famous of his Socratic writings, serving as an apologia for Socrates. In the Memorabilia, rather than presenting Socrates defense of himself during trial, it presents Xenophon's defense of his former teacher by offering examples of Socrates' activities and dialogues with commentaries by Xenophon.
