BENYAMIN DAVNIE The Mayor of South Tangerang
He was born in Pandeglang City on 1 September 1958 and served as Mayor of South Tangerang for the 2021-2026 period. Basic formal education after graduating from elementary school at SDN 1 in Tangerang (graduated 1970), was taken at SMP Negeri 6 in Tangerang (graduated in 1973) and continued to SMA Negeri 27 (now SMAN 1) in South Tangerang (graduated in 1976). Higher education (Strata 1 Government Science) was completed at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Padjadjaran University, Bandung (graduated in 1982).
His career is listed as a volunteer worker for the Tangerang Regency Government (1980); Executive Sta (1983); Head of Population Sub-division of Governance Division (1986); Heads of Ciledug and Cisoka Districts, Tangerang Regency (1988); Head of Public Relations of Tangerang Regency (1991); Head of Cisoka District, Tangerang Regency (1993); Head of Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency (1995); Head of Governance Division. Tangerang Regency (1998); Head of Regional Development Division of Tangerang Regency (1999); Head of Organization Division, Tangerang Regency (2002); Head of the Spatial Planning and Building Service, Tangerang Regency
(2003); Regional Assistant Civil Service (ASDA 1) Tangerang Regency (2004); Head of BAPEDA Tangerang Regency (2005); and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, in 2011.
The awards he has are: Certicate of Commander of the Jaya Military Regional Command (1990); Certicate of Participation of Borobudur Run (1992); Pasca Warsa II Badges Scout (1995); Certicates from various campuses as resource persons (2001); NGO Coalition Version Activist Actor Award (Forum Tangerang), 2002; Other certicates/awards from various institutions/organizations, 2002 - 2006; Badges of Dharma Bhakti Pramuka (2003); Satya Lencana Karya Satya X Years: an Award of Work Performance for 10 Years without aws given by the President (Presidential Decree), 2003; and Certicate of Attendant the Sixth ASPAC Conference (2005).
