Little Aqen and his parents went into a small forest. There was a shallow stream there, and the water was crystal clear. They were busy catching tiny shrimp. Suddenly, a strange little stick swam upstream toward Aqen. It seemed to be teasing him. Aqen chased it far away. Luckily, Aqen’s mom called him back quickly, because that forest still holds plenty of mysteries!
On the way home, they heard a suspicious rustle in the bushes and half-ran. Aqen’s dad tripped over a log and nearly fell when they saw a snake! But instead of being scared, Aqen just stared at the thicket, hoping it was his new friend Ranting. Was it really Ranting, or a giant snake lying in wait?
