Zugleich enthält das Buch aber auch erstaunliche technische Vorhersagen: So gibt es auf dem Mars bereits Computer, synthetische Stoffe, eine Art Atomenergie sowie gigantische Luftfahrzeuge.
About the author
Alexander Alexandrowitsch Bogdanow eigentlich Alexander Alexandrowitsch Malinowski; * 22. August 1873 greg. in Sokalko; † 7. April 1928 in Moskau, war von Beruf Arzt, ein russischer Philosoph, Ökonom, Soziologe und Verfasser utopischer Romane. Er wurde auch bekannt unter dem Namen Maximow. Bogdanow, Sohn eines Landlehrers, war das zweite von sechs Kindern. Nach dem Gymnasialabschluss in Tula 1892 begann er ein naturwissenschaftliches Studium an der Moskauer Universität.
