Nell'attesa si può soltanto dire che se Manzoni parlava di spagnoli per intendere austriaci, anche qui avviene altrettanto e, con la scusa di una storia collocata in un tempo remoto, si parla di oggi, dell’uso improprio dei santi, della volgarità dei prepotenti, dei preti pavidi e degli avvocati disonesti.
