by Suzanne Enoch, is a rom-com written within a historic romance, a unique and delightful read. This is the story of Emmeline and William Pershing who have been friends for years and decided a marriage of convenience would best support their end goals; Emmie receiving Winnover, a family estate, and William having success in his career through her connections. Emmeline and William have settled into a convenient, childless marriage. But her reclusive, powerful grandfather thinks she and William have two children. When the duke summons them all to his birthday party, she and William borrow two orphans. What could go wrong? In this women’s fiction, the love story is secondary—but otherwise, it feels like a rom com. The book has depth, humor, winning characters, and a plot that tugs on your heart. Something In The Heir is a fabulous historical romance by Suzanne Enoch. Ms. Enoch has given us a well-written book. The characters are outstanding and make this a great read. Emmie and Will have been friends forever. When Emmie learns she's about to lose the home she loves and the only way to keep it is to marry quickly, she asks her friend Will to marry her. Will and Emmie's story is fun and lively. There's plenty of drama, humor and spice to keep readers attention glued to this book. T
