I was so excited to see the return of Bachelor Auction to Marietta, Montana. Our first bachelor, is exmarine, Cody and his high school sweetheart, Hayley. Hayley left Marietta to become a movie star, she has now returned home and feels her life is threatened. She wins the bid on Cody, so now he can be her bodyguard. Will the sparks still be there between them? A fun sexy read with a bit of a mystery, that I highly recommend. Looking forward to the rest of the Bachelor books!

The Marietta Bachelor Auction is back again this year and what a great way to kick things off. This story is fun, sexy and romantic with a bit of mystery tossed in! Cody Matthews is first up on the auction block and what a fine specimen he is. Ex military turned body guard, he's back in Marietta helping is uncle on the ranch. Haley Dawn O'Malley is also back in Marietta after making it big in Hollywood. When she starts getting threats against her she tries to convince Cody to help her. When he declines, she does the only thing she can, she makes sure no one outbids her at the auction! That should get his attention. Grab a copy and find out exactly how Cody plans to keep her safe. Cody refuses to be her bodyguard, but Hayley has other ideas. He is too attracted to Hayley and hurt from the way they left things off when she left Marietta to spend time with her. Hayley isn't one to give up. She ends up with the winning bid in the Marietta Bachelor Auction for Cody. Now, Cody is obligated to spend one weekend with her. Due to the threats that Hayley is receiving they end up alone in a remote cabin for their weekend date. Will Cody be able to resist Hayley? The is a cute and sexy second chance romance.
