About this ebook

Finally getting to live your life on your terms? Check

Headed out of town to a new life? Check

Your one-night stand who could have been more says she pregnant? Wait, what???

Cam Miller has spent his life shouldering responsibility. But now, with his sister off to college, he was ready to live his own life away from Granite Junction, from ranching, and from people who couldn't separate him from the sins of the father.

Too bad it also took him away from the one woman who might have been the right one for him.

Molly Brennan was living her best life as a rodeo trick rider until a failed marriage forced her from the arena. Now she’s perfectly fine running her own hair salon and raising her daughter solo. She doesn’t need a man, but what could it hurt to indulge in a little no-strings fun with a sexy cowboy?

When Molly realizes she’s pregnant, she knows she can do it alone, although she’s finding it isn’t so easy to let Cam go. Finding himself torn between a woman who feels like home and his need to break free, where will Cam’s heart lead him?

Just when Cam Miller thinks he’ll make his way out of Granite Junction for good, an accidental pregnancy has him torn between the life he’s finally going to make for himself and responsibilities in a town he wanted to leave in the rear view mirror. I didn’t think I was going to be a huge fan of Cam but he’s definitely my favorite Granite Junction character so far.

This book definitely put my heart through the wringer with its blend of intense emotions, tension, drama, inner turmoil and romance. I found myself really pulled into this story of family, painful pasts, future desires and present responsibilities. Overall, I enjoyed this book. The chemistry was great and the feels plentiful. I just had a couple pet peeves with it and felt some frustration towards the characters. I will say that I liked Cam a lot and I surely felt for him. As for Molly, it was kind of a split decision. I thought she had her moments but mostly she just irked me. This is my unbiased and unsolicited review.

Cam was so close to finally moving on from Granit junction, like hours away and then Molly drops a bombshell now Cam is torn about what to do with his new business and to be there for Molly and their unborn baby. Both Cam and Molly are strong and independent people, but at times to the detriment to themselves and each other as well as to what they need to work through. You feel for both of them as they also have pasts they need to work through in order to move forward and I will be honest at times I got frustrated with Molly and her stubborness as well as just wanting them to see how great they are together. There are some good laughs, frustration, tender moments as well as hope and a chance at having a happy ever after that both Cam and Molly deserve. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
