Durch den Einsatz kryptographischer Hashfunktionen entstehen auf diese Weise transaktionsabh„ngige, virtuelle Kreditkartennummern. Der reale Account des Karteninhabers bleibt verborgen. Mithilfe dieses Verfahrens soll das Ausmaá missbr„uchlicher Kartenverwendung reduziert werden. Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist eine Analyse des vorgestellten Systems unter Bercksichtigung sicherheitsrelevanter und pragmatischer Aspekte.
