About this ebook

Whoever said getting pregnant to the town playboy was a good idea… they were wrong.

Gabrielle Walker’s world implodes when she discovers that her boyfriend is engaged to another woman. In need of a change, she uproots her life and moves to Haven Bay, hoping to mend her broken heart.

But there’s no small town love story for her. Instead, a night of passion with playboy bartender Logan Pride—her brother’s friend—results in a positive pregnancy test and no white picket fence in sight.

Logan doesn’t want children, but now he’ll have to choose between following in the footsteps of his no-good absentee father or putting his lonely heart on the line.

If you loved the drama of Virgin River and the zaniness of Schitts Creek, then NEVER SAW YOU COMING is your next addictive read!

Last book in the sereis. Logan and Gabby's surprise baby romance. Gabby has moved back to Haven Bay to be close to her family after a painful breakup. She hooks up with playboy Logan and ends up pregnant. She doesn't know how Logan will react when she tells him. Logan's reaction when he finds out is not great.Once he gets his head around it,it is sweet how he looks after Gabby. He is worried how this will affect his friendship with Gabby's brother, who is not happy when he finds out. The chemistry between them is great, but Logan does not do relationships. Their feelings do change for each other, but it takes them a while to admit to them. Loved this small town romance full of heat, humour, romance, swoony moments, family love and support, insecurities, past hurts, emotions and a happily ever after. Sad to say goodbye to Haven Bay,but looking forward to Alexa's next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Gaby is a smart, attractive vet who gets pregnant by her FWB town bachelor Logan. Both had well developed backstories that made their insecurities very real, and the pregnancy forces them to face their insecurities and there is so much character growth. This made me laugh and cry. I loved this book so much! It was funny, sweet, sexy, cheeky and touching. I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed how the story came together and the camaraderie between the town folk. The writing was also fantastic.

It is very bittersweet to have reached the 8th and final book in the Haven Bay series. I have really loved all the characters Alexa has brought to life in Haven Bay and was delighted to finally read Logan and Gabby’s story. Both are wonderful characters dealing with insecurities from their pasts, and watching their journey through life’s surprises, as well as the expectations of others, was equally frustrating and heartwarming. A really lovely end to a wonderful series.

About the author

Alexa Rivers writes about genuine characters living messy, imperfect lives and earning hard-won happily ever afters. Most of her books are set in small towns, and she lives in one of these herself. She shares a house with a neurotic dog and a husband who thinks he’s hilarious.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling, baking, eating too much chocolate, cuddling fluffy animals, drinking excessive amounts of tea, and absorbing herself in fictional worlds.
