Katherine Rundell, geboren 1987, wuchs in London, Simbabwe und Brüssel auf. Sie ist Fellow am All Souls College, Oxford. »Ein unvorstellbar unsinniges Abenteuer« ist schon ihr fünftes Buch bei Carlsen und wurde in England bereits vielfach ausgezeichnet.
Henning Ahrens, geb. 1964 in Peine, studierte Anglistik, Geschichte und Kunstgeschichte in Göttingen, London und Kiel. Neben seiner Übersetzertätigkeit hat er eigene Romane und diverse Gedichtbände veröffentlicht und wurde bereits mit verschiedenen Preisen ausgezeichnet. Henning Ahrens lebt in Frankfurt.
