We share a meal that leads to a whole lot more. But when he reveals the truth he hid ten years ago, I have to face the decision of sending him away forever or living with the hurt he’s caused.

Mercer didn't think he would be bumping into his High School crush in Fifties Diner at the grand old age of 28 but there he was. Gawain. And just like that all of Mercer's shyness and nerves came back. Mercer doesn't want to get his hopes up too high but when Gawain accepts a place to stay for the night Mercer certainly hopes it might lead to more. Wants it to lead to more... Will revelations and truths be too much or will they be just what both men need to move forward, together...?

A great addition to Mission City which is such a great series. A thoroughly enjoyable low angst storyline that though short had plenty of character and relationship development to keep you captivated. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Mercer had a crush on Garwain in high school and at graduation he almost told Garwain how he felt. Mercer saw a person that looked like Garwain come into the restaurant that he owned but was told later that Garwain was still in a rural area of Japan. The person he saw was Gio Garwain’s twin who got out of an Indonesian prison was there 5 years and had a crush on Mercer. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
