About this ebook

A rare discovery. A secret world. A lover beyond her dreams.

Archaeologist Keltie Clarke makes the find of a lifetime inside a remote mountain cave. But her ambitions are challenged by a mysterious stranger who confronts her at the site. He tries to wipe her memory of the entire event—as if she could ever forget the handsome man. But nothing can shake her conviction that she’s seen the impossible.

Larkan is a Flameborn warrior trained to protect his shapeshifting dragon kin from the outside world. He is also one of the privileged few allowed to venture beyond the dragons’ mountain home. When the kind and lovely Keltie stumbles into his territory, she puts her safety and his freedom in jeopardy—not the least because her courage inspires him to defy his beautiful but deadly queen. That puts the lives of everyone—humans and dragons—at terrible risk.

The stakes are high. Keltie has found a powerful secret that only a dragon can unlock. Both she and Larkan must retreat to the lives they know—or leap together into peril and legend.

Second edition. Previously published in 2014 by Harlequin Nocturne Cravings

The first story in the Dragon Lords, Archaeologist Keltie Clarke and Larkan is a Flameborn warrior and dragon shifter meet when she accidently finds what he is trying to keep safe and hidden. A short well written story with great characters and a very good storyline that held my interest until the end. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Spending his life underground because royalty demanded it, was not much of a life for the dragons. He's lucky he had the job of guarding the cave entrance and had a chance to meet his saviour. Because that's what she was. Once she realised that he would have to fight to stay down there, she decided to fight to keep him, and in doing do gave them, and some other dragons a chance at a future. This story isn't just about two falling in love, it's about setting them free. I really enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

For the love of a dragon Keltie Clarke knew the cave drawings were a momentous discovery. The man stepping out of the shadows startled her. She assumed he was with a rival archaeological team. Larkan's duty was to protect the dragon den but this feisty human fascinated him. She overcame his command to forget and brought more humans to the cave. His Queen’s command is clear. Get rid of the humans one way or another. Dragon romances are always fascinating. This is a good start to the series.
