About the author

Stanley Bennett Clay is an actor, playwright, director, producer, and author. He has appeared onscreen in such films as All the President’s Men, Minstrel Man, and I, Robot. He wrote and directed the NAACP Theatre Award–winning play Ritual. In the literary world, he is the author of Looker, In Search of Pretty Young Black Men, Aching for It, Hollywood Flames, and Madame Frankie. He also contributed, with Terrance Dean and James Earl Hardy, to Visible Lives: Three Stories in Tribute to E. Lynn Harris.

Terrance Dean is the Essence magazine bestselling author of Hiding in Hip-Hop: On the Down Low in the Entertainment Industry—From Music to Hollywood, a memoir examining gay identity and sexuality in the hip-hop celebrity lifestyle. His other books include Reclaim Your Power! A 30-Day Guide to Hope, Healing and Inspiration for Men of Color, and Straight from Your Gay Best Friend—The Straight-Up Truth About Relationships, Love, and Having a Fabulous Life.
